General Spa Policies

  • Age Requirements

    Clients must be at least 16 years old and we require verbal as well as signed parental consent for any clients under 18 years of age. Exceptions are occasionally made for clients under the age of 16 to be seen for a customized 60-minute facial. In this case, a legal guardian of the same gender is required to sit in the treatment room during the time of service. Laser facial clients must be at least 20 years old.

  • Cancellation Policy

    We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. Any appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time will result in a cancellation fee of 100% of the cost of the service cancelled. If a client does not arrive for an appointment without notifying us of a need to cancel or reschedule, we call this a no-show. A no-show fee is 100% of the cost of the service. New appointments cannot be made until a client's cancellation fee or no show fee has been paid. Thank you for respecting our policies!

  • Covid-19 Policy

    If you currently have Covid-19 or are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment. If you are unsure please call our front desk via 508-650-1921.

  • Indecent Exposure Policy

    We have a zero tolerance policy for indecent exposure. Clients who violate this policy will be asked to leave and all future appointments will be cancelled.

To Our Skincare Clients

  • Returning and first time skincare clients: please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment to complete our NEW paperwork effective May 12th, 2023. Thank you!

  • We require verbal as well as signed parental consent for any skincare clients under 18 years of age.

  • Laser facial clients must be at least 20 years of age.

  • Each skincare treatment is customized to the client and eligibility for all treatments is determined by our Esthetician at the time of the service. Our Esthetician reserves the right to deny a service to any client at the time of service.

Contraindications

Please note that some services are contraindicated for clients trying to conceive and pregnancy. If we are informed about a contraindication for our services at the time of your appointment we will suggest an alternative treatment or in some cases suggest a cancellation of the appointment. Pregnancy safe services are noted.

Laser Facial Contraindications: Epilepsy or history of epilepsy, use of accutane, you have a medical condition which makes your skin sensitive to light, or if you're taking any medications which make you sensitive to light. Additional contraindications: facial tumors, over-active thyroid conditions, fungal skin infections, implanted pacemakers and melanoma. Laser facial clients must be at least 20 years old.

  • As of May 2023, we have partnered with Square and accept all major credit cards. Cash is also accepted.

  • We are offering D’Arcy Day Spa e-gift cards for the holiday season. Shop e-gift cards here.

    Please note that e-gift cards purchased at D’Arcy Day Spa or darcydayspa.com may only be used in our spa for Customized Facials or Lash Extensions. D’Arcy Day Spa e-gift cards can not be transferred to purchase services or products at D’Arcy Wellness Center, and vice versa. Please visit darcywellness.com or call 508-650-1921 to purchase a gift card for D’Arcy Wellness Center.
